Grapes of Moravia is a scarlet local beauty, which can trace its roots back to Bordeaux. Combining the character of Cabernet Franc and Zweigeltrebe, Cabernet Moravia grapes shine with their low acidity and redcurrant notes. First harvested in 1975 not far from our brewery, we could hardly find a more local ingredient for our wild ale.

There are few things in life more seductive than a sour cherry wild ale. Femme Fanale is a crimson, sensual brew easy to fall for. With 200 grams of fresh Moravian Fanal cherries per litre, this is a tart yet refreshing experience, which will keep you longing for more till the very sour end.

Hailing from our own vineyard on the southern slopes of Pálava, these hand-picked St Laurent grapes are among the most aromatic from the region. Tears of St Laurent is a dark crimson ale with a rich character of grapes, plums and sour cherries. Spontaneous fermentation and years of ageing in oak barrels result in a very wine-like experience.

The world around us serves as an endless inspiration to me. This appetising beer is a nod to classic, bitter cocktails of Italy, all the while keeping the roots in the local soil. It was brewed from local organic ingredients, rested for seasons in oak barrels, carefully blended and married with Zweigelt grapes, sour cherries and black currants. The magical touch comes from a dozen carefully selected botanicals impairing a delightful, grown-up flavours of bitter, beyond the scope of hops.

Summer Ribes (2022)

A special spontaneous blend of six barrels created using the Solera method. This beer is only taken from the oldest barrel, having completed its journey through three layers. Young beer is only poured into the top barrel, while the oldest barrel on the bottom will forever retain some of the very first batch.

The purest and most challenging of our beers, Meditation is a blend of ales that have been barrel-aged for between one and three years. The older ales offer a dry, oak character while the younger ones reveal softer, sweeter tones. This is a real hallmark of our blending process as well as the wild creatures of the Mikulov area.
