Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brouwerij Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing ale is matured in oak casks; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit, and chocolate, and a long, dry and acidic finish. After the first and secondary fermentation, the beer goes for maturation into the oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with 18 months old beer. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before being bottled is 12 months.

Color and Sight:
Dark Chocolate Brown with a compact foam, white-yellow, stable and creamy. Odor Touches of caramel, mocca and chocolate. Spices such as licorice and coriander are also present. 

Taste:
Initially a very pleasant sensation in the mouth of alcohol and softness. It is followed by a growing bitterness, which comes partly from hops, but also from roasted malt and chocolate malt. 
Towards the end, pleasant balance between bitter, sour and sweet notes.

Delirium Nocturnum

The allusion to pink elephants and the choice of names is not due to chance. With a particular character, the unique taste results from triple fermentation and the use of three different yeast strains. Sweet, biscuit malt backbone, supported by pleasant warmth and spice, finishes well rounded, floral, and dry.

Color and Sight:
Pale blond, the fine and regular sparkle creates a nice, stable foam head. 

Scent: 
Slightly malty, heavy touch of alcohol, spicy. 

Taste:
A good shot of alcohol ignites in the mouth, as it were, which really warms the tongue and palate. The taste is also characterized by its roundness. The finish is strong, long and dry bitter.

Ayinger Lager Hell is the typical every day drink in Bavaria. Together with wheat beer this Muenchener Hell style is the most famous beer style in the Bavarian south.

As people in Bavaria are very demanding as far as their daily drink is concerned the brewers are very aware of the necessity to brew a yellow-golden beer with a light malt taste. It is crisp, smooth and mellow. A perfectly balanced taste and aroma.

Barbe Ruby is one of the four Barbe beers. The name of the series of “Barbe” beers refers to the Liege brewery “Barbe d’Or”. Brewery Barbe d’Or was a medieval brewery in the old town of Liege (Belgium) and belonged to the family “de Romsée”, an ancient Liege family whose coat of arms adorns the logo of the Barbe beers. Barbe Ruby is a top-fermented beer. The “Barbe Ruby” is  the fruity beer in the series of “Barbe” beers. Its taste has aromas of fruit with hints of almonds and light sour cherries. The taste is initially sweet and fruity and keeps nicely the balance with a refreshing aftertaste.

Commercial description by brewer : "Bourgogne des Flandres is the real taste of Bruges. The mixed fermentation is what makes this beer so special. The top-fermented brown ale is subtly blended with the best spontaneously fermented lambic, which is then matured in oak barrels for many months. It is this process that gives the red-brown beer a rich, creamy finish."
About the style: Even though "Bruin" suggests a style like "Old Brown" or "Brown Ale", this beer should definitively be classified as Flanders Red Ale (Category 23B in BJCP 2015), because its aromas and flavors are rather fruity than malty, it has mixed fermentation, it's aged in oak casks and its brewing location is in West Flanders.
